Seasonal Living Design Challenge

About the challenge…

This rendering contest was open to all eDesign Platform members and if you weren’t a member you were able to participate during the open entry time October-November with a complimentary 2 week free trial of the rendering program. We first announced this at the second annual Back to School night on our virtual eDesign U campus at the end of October and submissions were due in the final hour of 2021.

In addition to all the amazing prizes for our winners, we are also planning on a get-together for our entire community to celebrate the winners and participants in the contest on Sunday at High Point Market in April- more details to follow. We hope you will all join us for a meet and greet with the winners!

The judging panel had their work cut out for them with this contest- so many talented designers submitted incredible entries. The judging panel consisted of Seasonal Living CEO, Gary Pettit, Laura D Muller, Interior Designer Owner, Principal, and Creative Director, Four Point Design Build Inc., and myself.

Laura has designed a stunning collection for Seasonal Living called The Provenance Signature Collection which many of the participants of the challenge used in their renders.  I love the serenity “Energy” tables myself :)

Thank you to our sponsor- Seasonal Living and CEO Gary Pettitt for bridging the gap between trades and designers by way of 3D visualization. If you aren’t familiar with the Seasonal Living Showhouse that the eDesign Tribe collaborated with Gary on in 2020- it truly is a must see.

With Gary’s vision, the eDesign Tribe design team of Sarah Durnez, Annilee Waterman and Lauren Brantley - brought the designs of 11 designers and 15 brands together for a luxury virtual shoppable, tourable showhouse.

All of these products are also available for designers to use in our members-only platform library in addition to thousands of other exclusive product models- and other customizable products.

The judges want to share an honorable mention to Amanda Vernon of Grit Interiors for her design entries and social media content in this contest as well! - shown below. All four of these entries were so unique and each designer did a wonderful job telling a story with the Seasonal living products through their conceptual renders.
